That could have and has been said by us all, but in this case, it's how Taylor Swift began her very big surprise.
"In isolation my imagination has run wild and this album is the result," she continued. "I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve. Now it’s up to you to pass them down. folklore is out now."
I've only had a chance to skim the tracks and I'm admittedly biased, but I'm beyond impressed. "Cardigan" is a standout song and a highlight of Swift's new collaboration with Aaron Dessner from The National and Big Red Machine.
Speaking of the latter, BRM co-founder Justin Vernon gives an Eau Claire flair with the Bon Iver collab "Exile." Again, I'm admitting bias, but it's probably my favorite track so far. See for yourself, below.
