Remembering Jerry Stiller

Jerry Stiller, whose acting and comedy spanned decades, has died. His son, actor Ben Stiller, made the announcement early Monday morning.

Together with wife Anne Meara, Stiller was half of the popular 1960s comedy duo Stiller and Meara, and in more recent years was featured on TV shows like Seinfeld and The King of Queens.

It was his iconic role as the insufferable Frank Costanza on Seinfeld that was both a career comeback and defining character for him.

Ben Stiller says his father died of natural causes. He was 92.
