How to See NEOWISE Comet

Given the renewed interest in astronomy and space with the successful recent NASA and SpaceX joint effort, this is a good time to catch a view of a comet. Namely, Comet NEOWISE.

Not only is this a good time, through about July 23, it'll be the only time we'll see it. That is, unless you plan to be around in 6,800 years for its next trip past us. Officially named C/2020 F3, Comet NEOWISE was only discovered a few months ago by the NEOWISE (Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Space Explorer) spacecraft.

Viewing the comet through binoculars or a telescope is helpful, but not totally necessary. Follow the links below to learn more.
