On the night of David Letterman's debut on CBS, Paul Newman made a guest appearance on the Late Show and asked, "Where the heck are the singing cats?" Well, I don't know where the singing cats are, but would you take a singing dog instead? How about one who sing the theme to Batman?

I'm not huge into video games these days, but most of these look somewhat familiar-- if they had the Staples 'Easy Button' installed on them. (My favorite is the Wii game near the end...)

I'm not sure which TV station Glenn the meteorologist works for, but I'm guessing it's in a city that was experiencing the heatwave earlier this week. Thursday's forecast high of 209 is certainly toasty, but it's got nothin' on that weekend forecast...

Seeing as it's a federal law that every US citizen MUST fire up the grill at least once this holiday weekend, we present:
The Official R U L E S F O R G R I L L I N G:
When a man volunteers to grill out, the following chain of events are put into motion:
Routine...
(1) The woman buys the food.
(2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert.
(3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand.
Important part:
(4) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.

(5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.
