Hey, It's Teri Ryan!

My family has always lived here.  I moved up here in January of 2007 to be near them.  But all my life I have spent every year here, whether holidays or summer vacations. Love living here in Chippewa Falls.  The landscape, the people and just the all-around feeling of camaraderie everywhere you go. I am a lover of all sorts of music.  I have always appreciated the talent and God-given gifts that musicians have creatively.  I am a wife, mother of 3 and grandmother to 1.  I am very thankful -- as well as my family -- for the love, and acceptance that we feel here living in the Chippewa Valley.

  • Brain Power Salad-Spinach Salad with Salmon, Avocado and Blueberries

    Seafood

    8 oz Smoked salmon

    Produce

    1 Avocado, pitted and diced
    4 cups Baby spinach
    1/2 cup Blueberries, fresh
    1/2 Red onion

    Condiments

    1 tbsp Honey
    1 Honey chia seed vinaigrette

    Baking & Spices

    1/4 tsp Salt

    Oils & Vinegars

    2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
    1/3 cup Olive oil

    Nuts & Seeds

    1 tbsp Chia seeds
    1/4 cup Walnuts

    Dairy

    1/4 cup Feta or blue cheese crumbles, light

  • Cheesy Bacon Bombs

    Bacon Bombs:
    1 can (8ct.) Pillsbury Grands Flaky
    Layers Biscuits
    Cubed Mozzarella Cheese (1-1″ cube
    per Bomb)
    2 lbs. of Bacon (1 slice per Bomb)
    Sticks
    Oil for frying (I used Canola)
    Directions:
    Cube up the Cheese, and cut each
    Biscuit into fourths. Place one piece of
    Cheese inside a Biscuit quarter, and
    roll it up in there, nice and tight…
    Wrap each rolled Bomb in a slice of
    Bacon, and secure it with a skewer or
    toothpick…
    In a med/large pot, heat up approx.
    2″ of Oil (to 350 degrees) and fry them
    up in small batches. Maybe one or
    two at a time, the oil will expand so
    stay close…
    Drain them on some Paper Towel, but
    serve them up good and warm.

  • Easy Hot Grilled Pizza

    This is so easy Teri, Take flour tortillas and slgihtly toast them on the grill both sides. Them add warm pizza sauce and any toppings you like. Pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushrooms, green peppers, canadian bacon, ect. Add shredded cheese and pulled lid of grill down. Just need to watch the cheese so it doesn't burn. About 2-4 minutes and hot grilled pizza is done. We camp alot and this is so easy.            Read More
