Man Injured in Rollover Crash
An Augusta man was hurt in a rollover crash this morning. The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department says the 20-year-old driver was on Highway 12 at County Highway R just west of Augusta when his vehicle rolled over a little before 5:30 this morning. Deputies say the man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Woman Drowned After Car Crash
A woman whose body was found in a western Wisconsin lake died from drowning.  That's what a medical examiner in Saint Paul said yesterday about 38-year-old Kristelle Wolle of Baldwin.  Saint Croix County sheriff's deputies were called to a traffic crash early Sunday near Hammond.  They found the car with nobody in it.  Rescuers then searched the area and found Wolle's body in Pine Lake.  Her blood alcohol level was point-21, more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit for drunk driving.

Thawing Eau Claire Residents May Now Turn Off Water
The City of Eau Claire Water Utility says Eau Claire customers can join the list of those turning off that pencil-lead thin stream of water, meant to prevent freezing. The utility says frost in the ground should no longer be an issue -- and that turning off the water shouldn't mean you can't turn it back on. As is the case in many cities, Eau Claire Water says it'll adjust bills--based on historical usage--for those it asked to leave the water on. A release says the city sustained 14 water main breaks, and 485 losses in water service, since Jan. 1, 2014.
